MN Girl Gathers Your Thanks for Vets

Posted: Updated:

If you're looking for a way to honor a veteran this holiday, one little girl from New York Mills, Minnesota is making it her personal mission. Heather Weller is in 9th grade and has spent the last five years collecting 'thank you' messages for veterans and their families.
She's received thousands of e-mails, hundreds of handmade cards and posters and heard from people in nearly all 50 states.
She plans to deliver all those messages to veterans in Fergus Falls, MN and Fargo, ND.
To include your message with the project, send an email to veteranthankyou@gmail.com.
And to learn more about her project, click here.
