Fort Totten, ND, Driver Injured in Rollover

Posted: Updated:

The wind may have been a factor in an accident Saturday morning that injured a young North Dakota man.
State troopers say a 24-year-old from Fort Totten, ND, was driving southbound on Highway 20 from Devils Lake around 6:15 am when he swerved into the center line, over-corrected and flipped his car two and a half times.
The car came to a rest on its hood in a ditch, the driver was ejected down a steep embankment.
The crash totaled the car; and the man was taken to Mercy Hospital for injuries.
The Highway Patrol is investigating the crash, while charges for the driver are pending.
