Moorhead Police Arrest Suspect in Pharmacy Robbery

Moorhead Police have arrested a Moorhead man who allegedly robbed the CVS Pharmacy for prescription drugs on Wednesday.

Ryan James Sabot, 36, was taken into custody after a search warrant at 2414 3rd Avenue North on Thursday afternoon. Sabot is currently being held in the Clay County jail and likely will be charged with felony aggravated robbery. 


Moorhead Police are searching for suspect involved in a robbery at the CVS Pharmacy Wednesday afternoon.

Authorities say the man demanded prescription drugs from a pharmacist. When the worker refused to give him drugs, the suspect walked around the counter, stole some and ran off.

Police say the robber indicated he was armed, but didn't show a weapon. Officers are reviewing surveillance videos and interviewing witnesses.

The suspect is described as a white man in his twenties or thirties. He was about 5'6" and medium build with a goatee, wearing a black hat and blue jeans. If you know anything about this robbery, call the Moorhead Police Department.
