An overzealous fan has Olympic swimmer Ryan Lochte on the mend, and unable to swim after a freak accident.  Lochte was in Florida on Sunday, when an excited fan ran at him. Lochte caught the teenager, but they both fell.

According to his representative, Lochte's knee hit a curb, and he ended up with a torn mcl and sprained acl ligament.  Lochte will be out of competition while his knee heals, but his medical team expects him to recover quickly.

During the London Olympics, Lochte won two gold, two silver and a bronze medal.
