Grand Forks Man Charged After Early Morning Police Chase

A Grand Forks, ND man had to be cut out of his vehicle early Thursday morning after police say he tried to outrun officers and crashed.

Grand Forks Police say they tried to stop Brandin Foster for speeding just after midnight on south Washington.

They say Foster tried to drive off, but lost control of his vehicle and crashed into a pole and a tree.

He was trapped in the vehicle and emergency responders had to cut him out before taking him to the hospital.

Foster was charged with Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol and Reckless Driving.  Other charges are pending.
