West Fargo Conducting Siren Tests Monday, Tuesday

Posted: Updated:

The City of West Fargo is conducting its twice-a-year outdoor siren test today and tomorrow.

If you notice a siren in your neighborhood is not working while they're tested, West Fargo Police want to hear from you. Contact them at 433-5500.

From West Fargo Police:

The City of West Fargo will conduct warning siren testing on Monday, October 28, and Tuesday, October 29. MidStates Communication of Fargo has been contracted to function check all warning sirens within West Fargo. Testing of the individual sirens will begin at 9 a.m. and continue throughout the day.

The sirens are function tested twice a year. They also receive a short operational check each day at noon. If the siren in your neighborhood fails to sound during the noon hour test you are asked to notify the West Fargo Police Department at 701-433-5500 so that the siren may be repaired.
