Edgeley Driver Hospitalized After Colliding with Trailer

An Edgeley, North Dakota was hospitalized following a crash involving a semi trailer early Saturday morning.
North Dakota State Highway Patrol says Chelsey Bitz, 21, was driving the Cadillac Escalade that collided with the semi trailer on Highway 281 just South of Edgeley at about 3:45 am.
Troopers say Bitz swerved into the oncoming lane, causing the truck to swerve into the shoulder. The vehicles hit at an angle, causing extensive damage to both cars totaling more than $20,000.
Bitz was transported to the Jamestown Regional Medical Center. The other driver was not hurt.
