FARGO, N.D. – The impact of our wet cycle is now being felt outside the river banks. Due to the rising river level, Elm Street between 14–15 Avenues North in Fargo will be closing.

The city of Fargo is closing the road at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 17. At last observation the Red River in Fargo reached flood stage of 18 feet. This segment of Elm Street will remain closed until the water recedes.
