Fargo Police Arrest Man Suspected of Home Burglary

Posted: Updated:

Fargo Police have arrested a man they believe broke into two south Fargo homes early Thursday morning.

A homeowner at 3513 River Drive S. called 911 around 4:30 a.m. after she woke up to loud noises and noticed her side garage door had been broken open.

Shortly after, a second homeowner six houses down at 3601 River Drive S. alerted police after he saw the burglar inside his home.

Police searched the homes, neighborhood and riverbank with a K9 team, locating the suspect on the east side of River Drive.

The neighborhood is east of University Drive South and Courts Plus. Police say it's normally a very quiet part of town and that neighbors did the right thing by noticing something suspicious and calling police.
