 Beltrami County Deputies have arrested a man who may be involved in last weekend's stabbing at a Bemidji fraternity house. A tip from the public lead sheriff's investigators to identify Jacob Andrew Young, 21, of Walker, Minnesota, as the suspect who stabbed 18-year-old Jace Jeffrey Ugrich. Witnesses say Young stabbed Ugrich at a large party owned by a fraternity on Hensel Drive NE in Frohn, Minnesota. Young will remain in custody pending the review of the case by the Beltrami County Attorney's Office.

Beltrami County Deputies are looking for the public's help in identifying suspects after an 18-year-old was stabbed at a party around 12:45 Sunday morning. Deputies caught up with a vehicle driving the teen to the hospital and rendered aid until Bemidji Ambulance arrived on scene. Bemidji Ambulance transported the victim to the Sanford Bemidji Medical Center.

The victim was identified as Jace Jeffrey Ugrich of Bovey. He was apparently stabbed at a large party on property owned by a fraternity on Hensel Drive NE. Deputies say Ugrich was attempting to intervene in a brawl between two males when an unknown suspect came from behind and stabbed Ugrich in the back.

Sheriff's Investigators are requesting help from the public to identify the suspect. Investigators are also seeking to interview two persons of interest:

  1. A white male 5'11" to 6'1" in height with a skinny build, wearing a dark sweatshirt and a black baseball cap on backwards with the word "Dope" in a light color on the front.
  2. A white male approximately 5'11" to 6'1" in height with light colored hair wearing a red hoodie sweatshirt.
