NDSU is preparing to open Missouri Valley Conference action this weekend on the road. With this trip to Brookings the Bison are looking at a possible five consecutive wins over the Jackrabbits.
The Herd took down South Dakota State twice last year: once in conference action and again when they met in the FCS playoffs. SDSU has won nine straight home games though. Their last loss at Coughlin Alumni Stadium was to the Bison in October of 2011.
"It's always tough to go on the road any place," head coach Craig Bohl said. "I think the Jackrabbits play well at home. They defend their field at home well. It's going to be a tough task for us. Our guys are going to need to be ready to handle adversity. Their fans are rowdy. They draw well and so we'll need to be ready to control the things we can control to play well."
If you aren't making the trip down to Brookings, SD you can catch this weekends game, and every game on KVLY in high definition. As well as the PetroServe USA Bison Football Pregame Show at 1:30 this week with game time set for 2:00.
