Emergency responders got some live training in the northern valley today. An emergency disaster exercise was held at the Grand Forks Airport.
The scenario was that an airliner had to make an emergency landing at the airport, after a strange chemical was found on board.
More than 100 people from over a dozen agencies took part in the drill.
Kevin Dean: "But, this also allows different agencies like fire, police, Red Cross, all of the mutual aid groups around the area to be able to work together in the event of an actual emergency."
The exercise is required every 3 years by the Federal Aviation Administration.
