Yesterday quite a few Bison fans voiced their displeasure with ESPN's decision to place their GameDay set up in downtown Fargo instead of closer to the Fargodome. Today the Bison players said "What's the big deal?" The feeling amongst the players was that even though they won't be able to attend, no matter where GameDay sets up the atmosphere will still be electric.
"It's been pretty exciting since the day we heard about it and I think that excitement will stay until game day and then once it's done then it's done," explains junior wide out Zach Vraa. "But for right now everyone is living it up and we're having a good time with it."
"For us at the FCS level to get the college GameDay crew to come up here is pretty special no matter if they're North Fargo, South Fargo, West Fargo, East Fargo. I don't care. It's cool for them to be coming here," adds senior starting quarterback Brock Jensen.
GameDay trucks started arriving in Fargo today with more crew set to start tomorrow. You can catch Saturday's game against Delaware State on KVLY at 2:30.
