Moorhead Police arrested two people during a traffic stop Tuesday afternoon as part of an on-going narcotics investigation. Deandrae Devon Poe, 23, and Phillip Neal Jones, 25, both from Minneapolis were taken into custody without incident and are being held in the Clay County Jail.

Deandrae Poe is being held on felony charges of 3rd degree controlled substance possession.  Phillip Jones is being held on gross misdemeanor possession of counterfeit currency charges.

Police seized crack cocaine and a total of $100 worth of counterfeit bills in $20 and $5 dollar denominations.  The paper consistency is noticeably different than authentic currency. Anyone believing they may have received counterfeit currency is asked to contact law enforcement.
