Suspected Car Burglar Busted in Downtown Fargo

A suspected car burglar is in the Cass County Jail after a short foot chase through downtown Fargo Tuesday morning.

Police say the car's owner spotted someone in his vehicle just before 6 a.m. at 1024 1st Avenue North. The guy took off on foot, but police caught up with him a few blocks away.

Police arrested 19-year-old Arin Matthew Ruiz for unlawful entry to a vehicle ad preventing arrest.

They say he was carrying a bag of what looks like stolen property.
