'Tis The Season for Tailgating

Posted: Updated:

The gold rush is here as fans in the thousands packed the Fargodome. And the first NDSU home football tailgate is in the books as the Bison took on Ferris State here at home.

It's a day many have been waiting for, the season opening tailgate. Early Saturday afternoon busses were parked and grills were fired up, and hundreds of fans pulled in to enjoy good times before cheering on the Bison.

They come in all shapes and sizes but they share one message, they want a three-peat.

Bison defeated Ferris State Saturday 56-10.

If you can't make it out to the Fargodome, Valley News Live has every Bison fan covered. We're broadcasting 10 more games this season on KVLY in high definition. We gave a look behind the scenes at how our production crew makes it happen, and they've been working hard.

Stick with Valley News Live all season, we'll be bringing you a Pre-Game show a half hour before each kick-off, followed by coverage of the game. And, of course, the Coach Bohl Show is on Sunday's at 10:30 am.
