61 for 61 Celebrates 21 Years

For the 21st year, 61 for 61 is at it again in South Fargo, working to raise $175,000 for the Roger Maris Cancer Center (RMCC).

The funds raised at 61 for 61 help support the RMCC in a variety of ways, from patient amenities and research, to the Nurse Navigator program, the Genetics and Risk Assessment programs, the Embrace Cancer Survivorship program, the Bottles of Hope program, Palliative Care Unit along with many others.

The radiothon hosted by Robbie Daniels & Dave Jacobs from 107.9 the Fox, runs through Friday, 6 a.m. - 7 p.m. daily.

There are several ways to donate and help the cause:

  1. Call the radiothon at 701-478-6161.
  2. Drop off a check at the radiothon, located at Sunmart, at 3175 25th St. South, Fargo.
  3. Donate online

Several other events including a silent auction take place at the Sunmart throughout the radiothon.

    Kraft Foods is recalling about 96,000 pounds of Oscar Mayer Classic Wieners because the product may contain a different type of hot dog product in the packaging.     A Grand Forks man has been arrested for DUI after injuring himself and one other in a crash early Sunday morning. The Grand Forks Police Department says Charles Engen, 48, was driving a Ford F150 through the intersection of 28th Avenue South and South Washington Street when he hit a Chevrolet Monte Carlo. Jessica Borowicz, 27, of Grand Forks was driving the Monte Carlo. The crash happened just after 2 am.An ambulance took Borowicz to the hospital for minor injuries.Engen faces DUI charges.The...
