Found Missing Kids of Woman Charged with Killing Boyfriend and Putting Body in Freezer

Posted: Updated:

Police say they have found the three children of a Minnesota woman charged with killing her boyfriend and putting his body in a freezer.

South Lake Minnetonka Police Department says that the children ages 10, 8 and 7 were all safe and put in protective custody through Hennepin County Child Protection.

Their mother Jetaun Wheeler, is charged with second-degree murder.

Police have not named the victim.

Prosecutors say Wheeler beat her boyfriend to death, taped his body up in plastic and hid it in a freezer because he was trying to break up with her.

Wheeler made her first court appearance Tuesday when bond was set at $2 million.

The family of the victim, 58-year old Eddie Sole, attended the court appearance in Minneapolis.

Sole's daughter, Kecha Matthews, says she never wants Wheeler to see the "light of day" again.
