Another Year of Record Growth for West Fargo Schools

WEST FARGO, ND – West Fargo Public Schools had 8,544 students recorded on the first day of school on Tuesday, August 27. That is an increase of 497 students, or 6.18%, from what was reported on the first day of the 2012-13 school year.

West Fargo Public Schools saw 318 additional students in Grades pre-kindergarten through fifth grade, and an additional 179 students in Grades six through twelve. Kindergarten classes start on Thursday, and the district will welcome the largest class in history when more than 800 kindergarten students arrive for their first day of classes.

Since the 1993-94 school year, West Fargo Public Schools have seen unprecedented and continued growth, enrolling 3,770 additional students. This represents a 78.97% increase in total enrollment in the last 20 years.
