The Bridal Shop in Fargo Closing

Posted: Updated:

A local bridal store is shutting its doors for good. The Bridal Shop on 13th Avenue South in Fargo will be closing. That's left some brides-to-be in a panic after they say some of their orders have yet to be fulfilled.

With less then a month to go until Breanne Schlindwein says 'I do', she's making sure everything is in order.

"It's the most stressful thing ever," says Schlindwein.

On Friday, that stress hit a whole new level when talking to other brides to be.

"One bride told be she was getting married in three weeks and her dress was not there and she demanded a refund and went to Alan Evans Bridal and got one off of the rack," says Schlindwein.

Breanne ordered her wedding gown and bridesmaid dresses from the Bridal Shop in January. She has yet to see any of them come in, so as the stories spread that the Bridal Shop wasn't fulfilling orders.

"I was talking to other bridesmaids, they said the same thing," says Schlindwein.

She made a call.

"They told me they were working with other bridal shops in town and working to get my dress order fulfilled," says Schlindwein.

We spoke with the manager of the Bridal Shop and she confirms the store is going out of business but they are working with their clients and other bridal retailers to make sure all orders get fulfilled.

For Breanne, she just hopes her dress will make it in before her big day.

The Bridal Shop says they are giving brides options. Brides who are waiting for their dresses can choose to get a full refund or place their orders with another retailer.

If clients have any questions, give the Bridal Shop a call.
