Allegiant announces new, nonstop jet service between Fargo, N.D. and Tampa Bay via St. Petersburg-Clearwater International Airport, beginning Nov. 23, 2013.

"We are pleased to add the Tampa Bay area as another affordable, convenient destination option for Fargo residents," said Andrew C. Levy, Allegiant Travel Company President.

"Our vacation packages and nonstop service to Orlando, Las Vegas, Los Angeles and Phoenix have all been very popular with residents. We are confident the Fargo community will appreciate the convenience of flying nonstop to Tampa Bay and the value of bundling their air, hotel and car rental reservation together."

The new flights will operate twice weekly between Fargo's Hector International Airport (FAR) and St. Petersburg-Clearwater International Airport (PIE) beginning Saturday, Nov. 23, 2013.

Flight days and times can be found at allegiant.com. Tampa Bay becomes Allegiant's fifth nonstop destination from Fargo.

"We are delighted that Allegiant has decided to expand their service for travelers in Fargo-Moorehead and the surrounding region," said Shawn Dobberstein, Executive Director at Hector International Airport.

"Allegiant continues to provide outstanding air service options that have become extremely popular with our mutual customers. We appreciate Allegiant's commitment to our market and look forward to additional opportunities to expand their great service in our market."
