Travis Beck Sentenced to one Year Probation

Posted: Updated:

Fargo, N.D. – An NDSU football player plead guilty Monday in Cass County court. Travis Beck is charged with resisting police, which is a misdemeanor, back in June.

The starting linebacker got in a fight and knocked another man unconscious in downtown Fargo and then ran from police.

Beck faces a 300 dollar fine and one year of probation. He was initially charged with aggravated assault, but that charge was dropped.

Beck was named most valuable player in the 2011 Division I FCS title game. He was suspended from the NDSU football team, but has since been reinstated.
