Bike Cabs Popping Up in Fargo. Just Tip and Away You Go...

Posted: Updated:

A new service to get you from point "a" to point "b" just hit the streets of downtown Fargo and Moorhead. It's called Totes People Peddy Cab and two of the cabs have just arrived. The service doesn't have a set rate for a ride you simply are expected to take care of your driver with a tip. This type of green transportation has already arrived in other metro areas and it's owner says hopefully it can be just as popular in Fargo.

"The idea we saw in Minneapolis. We came out of the Target Center and there were peddy cabs everywhere and it was cold out so I saw something really cool. And noticed it was was! And I said hey we could do this in Fargo," says Zach Johnson the owner of Totes People Peddy Cab Service.

You can't call the cabbi to pick you up so you'll have to rely on just bumping into the unique service. They usually hit the streets, Broadway being one of the more popular stretches, from about noon till three in the morning.Don't forget to tip your driver, that's the only charge associated with the ride.
