Rare Planes Visit Fargo Museum

Posted: Updated:

One of the rarest airplanes in the world is here in the Valley, and ready to take you on a trip through the skies.

The B-29 Super-Fortress Bomber is at the Fargo Air Museum. It's the only flying B-29 in the world. The plane was built back in 1945 and had a crew of 11 operating it throughout.

Many other rare aircrafts are on display as well, all to celebrate the ground breaking for the new Beck-Odegaard Wing.

"And once that's here there will be a whole another area, for kids and adults that like the mechanics part will be able to come out and participate." Jim Fox who works at the Museum explains.

The planes will be on display until Sunday.
