UPDATE: Pelican Rapids Police Search for Missing Teen

Pelican Rapids police say they are focusing their search for a runaway teen around the Detroit Lakes, Minnesota, area.  Alex Key, a 17-year-old from Pelican Rapids, has been missing since he snuck out of his home last Wednesday.

Officers say key was spotted in Detroit Lakes on Saturday, August 10. They also say because Key likes arcades and video games, he may be in Fargo-Moorhead.

Family members are concerned for his health. Alex had heart surgery a year ago and may not have his medication with him.

He's about 6 feet and 200 pounds with dark red hair and hazel eyes. Anyone with information is asked to call police.

Pelican Rapids Police are asking for your help in finding a teen they say could be in trouble. Alex Key, 17, snuck out through his bathroom window in Pelican Rapids at about 7:00 on Wednesday night.

Police say he was upset at the time and hasn't been seen since.  Family members are concerned for his health. Alex had heart surgery a year ago and doesn't have his medication with him.

He's about 6', 200 lbs, dark red hair and hazel eyes.  He has a large scar in the middle of his chest from heart surgery. Police say he may be trying to reach Troy, Missouri. If you have any information, call Pelican Rapids Police at 218-863-1351.
