Grand Forks Driver Attacked at Stop Sign

Grand Forks Police are investigating an attempted armed robbery.

The victim told officers they were stopped at 13th Ave. and Cherry St. when a man ran up to their car, hit them in the head with a gun, and demanded money.

It happened just after 6:30 Tuesday morning.

The victim was able to drive away before the robber got any cash.

The suspect is described as a white man about 6 feet tall, with blonde hair, wearing a black hoodie and black bandana.
