Chief Arland Rasmussen regrets to inform you that the West Fargo Night to Unite Celebration is CANCELED due to the rainy conditions. The event is canceled and will not be rescheduled.

From the City of Grand Forks:

Law enforcement and communities will gather together this evening for the annual Night to Unite Celebration.

Night to Unite is an evening dedicated to building neighborhood involvement by bringing police and communities together.

Different Night to Unite celebrations are planned throughout the valley, some locations include:

  • Grand Forks, Purpur Arena, 1110 7th Ave. S. from 5:00 - 8:00pm
  • West Fargo, Elmwood Park, 500 13th Ave. W. from 5:00 - 9:00pm
  • Fargo, Boler Park, 1734 34th St. S. 5:00 - 7:00pm 
  • Casselton, Governors Park, 5:30 - 7:30pm
  • Mapleton, Mapleton Fire House, 651 2nd St. 5:30 - 7:30pm

If your community is not listed above call your local law enforcement office to find out where the nearest Night to Unite is.

From the City of Fargo:

Come out and enjoy free food (while supplies last) courtesy of Hornbacher's Food, play in the free bouncy house courtesy of Fargo Parks, a K9 appearance, crime information and crime prevention tips.

Night to Unite is designed to help residents get to know one another in their neighborhoods, build neighborhood involvement by bringing police and communities together; and bring awareness to crime prevention and local law enforcement efforts.

This family friendly event is free and open to the public. The first 1,250 guests will enjoy free hamburgers, hotdog's and chips. Area groups will host informational booths and will be offering a door prize that will be given away throughout the event. You must be present to win.

This is a super opportunity to spend time with your family and educate your children on crime prevention. There will be tours available through the local ambulance, fire, police, and sheriff vehicles. The GF Regional Special Operations Groups vehicles will also be present including the bomb truck, SOG command vehicle, Negotiations Bus and Water Rescue vehicles will also be on display. New this year will be a city motor grader and plow truck for you viewing pleasure.
