BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) - A Montana man already facing federal charges for allegedly enticing a teenager to have sex with him has made an appearance in a North Dakota state court on a similar charge.

34-year-old Ronald O. Schultz, of Terry, Mont., is charged in state court with luring minors and promoting obscenity to a minor. A judge on Friday set Schultz's bond at $50,000 cash.

Schultz is accused of carrying on explicit conversations through the Internet with someone he believed to be a 13-year-old Bismarck girl in September and October of 2012.

He also faces federal charges of attempted coercion or enticement of a minor and transfer of obscene material to a minor.
