Update: Casselton Man Dies in West Fargo Crash

5:00 P.M. UPDATE

We know more about the people involved in a deadly crash on Interstate-94 near West Fargo Thursday morning. The North Dakota Highway patrol says 61-year-old Royce Rodacker from Casselton, ND, died after he was rear ended by a 20-year-old from Kindred, ND.

Both vehicles were traveling eastbound when the crash happened. The 20-year-old's vehicle ended up in the south ditch, Rodacker's vehicle rolled in the median.  Neither of the men involved were wearing seatbelts.

Rodacker died at the scene of the crash and the Kindred man was taken to Essentia Health for minor injuries. The North Dakota Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.

10:00 A.M. UPDATE

The North Dakota Highway Patrol says one man was killed in a two-vehicle crash on Interstate 94 in West Fargo Thursday morning. It happened near the Red River Valley Fairgrounds exit just before 6 a.m.

Troopers say a car and pickup were both traveling eastbound when they collided, then ended up in the highway median.

The driver of the pickup was ejected and died at the scene.

ORIGINAL STORY

Drivers could see some new traffic delays on their way through West Fargo this morning, as first responders work the scene of an injury accident. Crews are on the scene at mile marker 341.

One person is believed to have been hurt after a car ended up in the median of the highway. There's activity in both the east- and westbound lanes.

The crash happened around 6 a.m.
