The North Dakota Highway Patrol says alcohol is believed to be a factor in the death of a Jamestown man killed in a motorcycle crash.

Albert Buchanan, 47, was driving on Stutsman County Road 40, just East of Jamestown, when troopers say he missed a curve, drove into a ditch and rolled.

It happened at about 7:00pm Sunday.

Buchanan was transported by ambulance to Jamestown Regional Medical Center where he died as a result of his injuries.

Troopers say Buchanan was not wearing a helmet.
