Cycling for Wounded Warriors

Posted: Updated:

A 17 year old from Michigan made a pit stop in Fargo Saturday after bicycling 2,000 miles.

Luke Wiltse is from Michigan and he is riding his bike all the way from Seattle, Washington to back home. It's a 2,900 mile 35 day trek.
So why would a teen who hasn't even graduated high school yet do such a thing?
He is riding for the Wounded Warrior project which raises funds for wounded veterans and his uncle is a wounded veteran him self and an inspiration for his trip.

"I have seen what these soldiers have gone through physically, mentally, and emotionally. They have had little to no help until 2003 when the Wounded Warrior Project was put in to place in Roanoke, Virginia."

Wiltse has about 800 miles left to go of his trip.
