Grand Forks Police Investigating a Stabbing

Grand Forks Police are investigating a stabbing that sent a teenager to the hospital. 

Police say the 18-year-old got in a fight in the Fuji Steakhouse parking lot early Tuesday morning.  
 
It happened sometime between 12:45 and 1:15 am.
 
His condition is not known right now.

Police believe the suspect knew the man he stabbed. And, police say there isn't any danger to people around the area.

NARRATIVE Grand Forks Police were called to Altru Hospital to investigate an aggravated assault.  An 18 year old Grand Forks male was brought to the hospital via personal car with stab wounds.  The subject had been involved in an altercation in the Fuji Steakhouse parking lot, somewhere between the hours of 1245am and 115am on July 9, 2013.  It is believed that the victim did know the suspect, and there is not believed to be any danger to the public.  At this time, the status of the victim is unknown.  This is still an active investigation, and the Grand Forks Police Department is asking that anybody with any information about the incident please call the police department at 701-787-8000.
