BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) - The North Dakota Department of Agriculture is looking for people to help promote the state's wine industry.
The agency is forming a six-member grape and wine advisory committee, which will help decide on grants for research and advertising.
A bill in the 2013 Legislature set aside $80,000 to support the grape and wine industry.
Agriculture Commissioner Doug Goehring will appoint the committee, which will include two grape producers, two winery owners, a representative of the North Dakota Grape and Wine Association, and a producer of fruit other than grapes for winemaking.
The application deadline is Wednesday.
