Allegedly Deleted NDSU Emails Not Gone For Good

Posted: Updated:

The interim chancellor of the North Dakota University System says the 45,000 emails reportedly deleted from the email account of North Dakota State University President Dean Bresciani are not gone for good.

Larry Skogen says that officials know where the emails are and are still trying to determine if they were ever deleted.

The emails are the subject of a state investigation into whether NDSU violated open records laws by deleting emails from Bresciani's inbox that might have been subject to a legislative public records request.

NDSU says it fully complies with open records requests.
