New Two-Way Greets Downtown Fargo Drivers Friday

Posted: Updated:

A new two-way road is greeting people driving through downtown Fargo today -- It's the second phase of a big construction project that's been going on the year.

Today's change is on NP Avenue from University to Second Street. City officials are urging drivers -- and pedestrians -- to start watching for two-way traffic at intersections along that stretch.

NP still has three lanes: The middle and south lanes are for drivers going east -- the north lane is for westbound traffic.

First Avenue will remain a one-way street for now. The last part of the conversion project starts July 22.
