Wahpeton Motor Vehicle Office Set to Re-Open

Posted: Updated:

People in the southern Valley will finally get their motor vehicle branch office back.

The North Dakota Department of Transportation has signed a contract with the Wahpeton Breckenridge Area Chamber of Commerce to operate the office.  It will open the week of July 15th.

North Dakota motor vehicle offices provide titling and vehicle registration services.

The North Dakota DOT closed the old motor vehicle office in May for an audit and ended its contract with the former operator.

The Wahpeton motor vehicle branch will now be located in the Chamber of Commerce office at 118 North 6th Street, Wahpeton, and will be open Monday- Friday from 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

A list of all branch office locations and hours can be found on the NDDOT website at https://www.dot.nd.gov/divisions/mv/docs/mvsiteloc.pdf.
