Posted: Updated:

Fargo police are trying to identify a man who is accused of exposing himself in public.

A woman called police Tuesday around 4:40pm on a report of a naked man hosing himself off near a church in the area of 17th and South University.

The man was described as a white man in his late 30's to early 40's.

When police arrived, they found the man dressed, but hiding in the bushes. He took off running, but police were able to catch him. He tried to hide under a deck in the 1400 block of 9th street south.

The man told police he was suffering from heat stroke and was trying to cool off. He did not have any identification on him, so police took pictures of him and then brought him to Sanford Health to be checked out.
