Badlands Bowl

Posted: Updated:

It's the battle between the states. High Schoolers from North Dakota and Montana faced off Saturday night in the Badlands Bowl.

It had some players like West Fargo line backer Drew Johnson, and running back Zach Reich from Fargo South. It also featured players like Jesse Kubik from Dickinson-Trinty and Wyndmere-Lidgerwoods Jeff Illies who both will be team mates this fall at NDSU.

It wasn't until the third quarter ND scored. Bismarck's Ben Jolliffe dropped back and decided to take it in himself, North Dakota finally got on the board but miss the extra point, Montana was still up 29-6.

Montana won the game 43-29. They've now won 15 of the games in the last 20 years.
