Grand Forks Walmart and Sam's Club Back Open After Bomb Threat

Posted: Updated:

The Walmart and Sam's club on 32nd avenue south were evacuated and the parking lot blocked off for hours tonight after a threat of multiple bombs. The call came in around 5 PM Saturday. Police say there were two threats. One was made to Walmart and the other to the Walmart parking lot. All customers and employees were rushed out and kept at a safe distance. A bomb squad was called in but did not find anything and they now believe the building and parking lot are safe. People were allowed back into the store around 8 PM Saturday. Police are still investigating where the threats came from. Right now they have no suspects.
