Training for North Dakota emergency health care workers got a big shot in the arm today.
Four new trucks that serve as mobile classrooms called, "Simulation in Motion North Dakota" were introduced at U.N.D.. The trucks contain all the equipment of a state of the art emergency room or ambulance. Trainers will work with E. R. and ambulance crews on all the latest procedures in emergency medicine.
Dr. Terry Dwelle, ND Health Officer: "That will be utilized across the State of North Dakota to train ambulance as well as emergency department personnel… the appropriate training to maintain their skills and advance their skills in taking care of patients across the State of North Dakota."
The nearly five- million dollar price tag for the new project was funded with a grant from Helmsley Charitable Trust.
