Three Arrested in Armed Robbery of Cab Driver

Fargo police have arrested a third suspect in the Wednesday morning cab robbery. Ardit Luma, a 20-year-old from Fargo, was taken into custody Wednesday evening and faces one count of robbery. His twin brother, Arbnor Luma, was arrested earlier in the day on a charge of conspiracy to commit robbery. Noah Nigel Garcia, a 21-year-old from Fargo, was also arrested on one count of robbery with a weapon.

A 17-year-old male has also be identified in connection to the case.

WEDNESDAY 4:00 P.M. UPDATE

Police arrested a man Wednesday morning in relation to a cab robbery while he was being questioned by investigators for different crime. Arbnor Luma, a 20-year-old from Fargo is facing a charge of conspiracy to commit robbery.

Police also tell us around 2:30 Wednesday afternoon, the SWAT team was issuing a warrant at the 3300 block of 16th Avenue South.  That's where another person was taken into custody for questioning.

A short time later, Noah Nigel Garcia, a 21-year-old from Fargo, was arrested on one count of robbery with a weapon.

At around 5:00 Wednesday morning, a cab driver says he was robbed at gunpoint by two Hispanic suspects. Deputy Pat Claus with the Fargo Police Department says two men got into the taxi cab and told the driver to pull around the building to pick up some luggage. That's when two armed men robbed the cab driver at gunpoint.

Investigators are still investigating, and say  more arrests are likely in this case.

Fargo Police are trying to track down two men they say robbed a cab driver early this morning. It happened just before 5 a.m.

Police are not releasing much information, but do confirm the driver was held up at gunpoint but was not injured.
