Summertime Means Patio Time

Posted: Updated:

As we kick off the start of summer this Memorial Day weekend it's time to enjoy the nice weather on some of the valley's patios.

Quaker Steak & Lube's "brick yard" patio features five large garage doors that can open to bring in fresh air, turning an enclosed space into an open one. Their patio also features some fresh hand squeezed "lubonades" (lemonade) and fresh crispy or grilled shrimp tacos and a turkey flatbread wrap, just to name a few.

The patio at Granite City is open and preparing for a bean bag toss league to begin in about two weeks. When league is not in play guests can enjoy the patio and play bags all summer long.

Doolittles patio has also rolled out some new drinks for the summer, called "patio pounders," including a new wild berry lemonade, purple haze martini and cucumber smash.

The HoDo provides the best spot in town for a private group gathering allowing guests to rent out their roof top patio, providing spectacular views of downtown Fargo and Moorhead. The roof top deck can hold up to 45 people.

Finally you can't have summer without life on the lake. Zorbaz on Detroit Lake has trivia every Tuesday and live music every Wednesday to Sunday night. Guests this summer can also enter to win a Shelby Mustang at all 11 locations. The Mustang will be raffled off at the end of summer in September.
