Xcel Energy Crews Scramble on Power Outage in South Fargo

Xcel Energy crews scrambled on a power outage in south Fargo late Thursday morning.

Valley News Live producer Ashley Bishop was on the scene and took pictures on 13th Avenue South near 34th Street.

A transformer started on fire.

Xcel Energy confirms a major feeder line went down just after 11 a.m.. The outage affects 2,500 customers from Target to the Bowler.

Fargo Police were called in to help direct traffic, since traffic lights were out.
