Traffic Stop Turns Into Drug Bust in Grand Forks County

A routine traffic stop turned into major drug bust in Grand Forks County on Wednesday.

Deputies pulled over Leonard Luna for a having a suspended driver's license.

A search of the vehicle found 563 hydrocodone pills in a paper bag wrapped in tape. They have a street value of $5600.

As Luna was being processed at the jail, 27 morphine tablets were discovered. They had a street value of $270.

Luna was arrested on driving under suspension and 2 possession of a controlled substance with the intent to deliver charges.

Luna is 55 years old and is from East Grand Forks, MN.
