Two three-year-old boys who were trampled by buffalo near Amor are recovering. The Otter Tail County Sheriff's office says both have broken bones but are expected to make a full recovery. It happened Friday morning west of Amor. The boys had wandered into a fenced off area where the buffalo are kept. Their mother found them, but not before the boys were trampled by several of the buffalo. One of the boys had to be life-flighted to Sanford in Fargo.

Authorities in western Minnesota say buffaloes trampled two young boys who wandered into a fenced-in area.

The Otter Tail County sheriff's office says the boys, both age 3, wandered Friday from their Battle Lake home into a secure area where the buffalo were being kept.

The boys' mother found the children, but not before the boys were trampled by several of the buffalo.

The condition of the boys is not known, but both were conscious when officers arrived. Arrangements were being made to airlift one of the boys to Fargo, N.D.
