Fargo Marathon Showing Support for Boston Marathon Victims

Posted: Updated:

United We Go Far"... That is the message on the new "Fargo Loves Boston" wristbands being sold by the Fargo Marathon.

Fargo Marathon organizers are inviting people to remember the tragedy of this year's Boston Marathon.

"Fargo Loves Boston" wristbands are now available with proceeds going to help the marathon bombing victims.

Race director Mark Knutson says his team will forever remember those who lost their lives and those who suffered life-changing injuries.

He wants all runners to salute the spirit of those people who pulled together and showed
the world how to persevere.

People can sign a "United We Go Far" banner and purchase a "Fargo Loves Boston" silicone wristbands.

The wristbands are only $2.00, and all profits from the sale  of the bracelets will be donated to the One Fund Boston, the fund set up for the victims of the Boston Marathon bombings.

The banner and the wristbands will be located  inside the lobby of the Fargodome during the Health and Fitness Expo. You can also buy them online at www.fargomarathon.com.

Knutson says he would love to see all of our runners and walkers wearing one of these wristbands at the starting line of whatever race you are in.
