Governor Set to Name Directors of MN Health Exchange

Posted: Updated:

Minnesota Governor Mark Dayton is announcing his choices for the Board of Directors of the State Health Insurance Exchange today.

One seat goes to the State Human Services Commissioner, but the Governor picks six others who have no financial ties to health insurance firms or medical providers.

The website should be ready October 1st to let individuals and business owners compare and purchase private insurance plans.

State officials think about 300,000 uninsured Minnesotans will get coverage through the exchange.
