Fargo Police arrested a man wanted on multiple warrants after he ran from a traffic stop. Police say a woman flagged them down to discuss a domestic abuse situation, and meanwhile a man was sneaking away from the vehicle.

Police and their K9 units searched in the area of 28th Avenue South near the Dakota Medical Foundation (DMF) building, which is currently under construction. Several officers were involved in a search inside the DMF building, including on the roof.

The man was found in the rafters of a mechanical room at the Dakota Medical Foundation Building. He was not armed and arrested without incident.

Deputy Police Chief Pat Claus tells Valley News Live the man had warrants out for his arrest for driving under suspension, simple assault, and criminal mischief. Claus also mentioned he could now face charges for going into the Dakota Medical Foundation Building.
