Our spring blast of winter also hit the northern valley. The National Weather Service says it’s all creating an ever increasing potential for flooding, up and down the valley.
This latest snowfall dropped another 8-tenths of an inch of water content on the Fargo area and 3-tenths of an inch on Grand Forks.
The Weather Service says more snow just continues to push up the odds of major flooding.
Mike Lukes, National Weather Service: “I think we are going to see major flooding in the Valley, especially along the main stem. So…. Better chance of that happening.”
Lukes reminds everyone, they won’t be making any more specific river flood forecasts, until the melt actually gets underway.
