UPDATE: Pedestrian Identified in Alleged Hit And Run

The North Dakota Highway Patrol released the name of a man killed in an alleged pedestrian/vehicle hit and run crash. It happened on a rural, gravel county road in Sargent County during the early morning hours of April 7, 2013.

Authorities identified the victim as Reavis Dandridge. The suspect, Dakota Sutton, is in custody at the Barnes County Jail and has been charged with leaving the scene of a fatal crash.

The North Dakota Highway Patrol, Bureau of Criminal Investigation, Sargent County Sheriff's Office and Oakes Police continue to investigate.

One person is dead after possibly being hit by a car in Sargent County. The North Dakota Highway Patrol says a 28-year-old man was on a rural gravel road around 3 A.M. when they believe a car hit him and then drove away.

The man was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead. 22-year-old Dakota Sutton of Brampton, North Dakota is charged with leaving the scene of a deadly crash. The victim's name is expected to be released Monday.
